Meal Plans

What Meal Plans do you offer?

We offer a variety of meal plans to meet your on campus dining needs. Check out our Meal Plan page http://www.housing.ubc.ca/meal-plan-okan for a full list of offerings.

What type of Meal Plan is recommended?

We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on your class year, where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. http://www.housing.ubc.ca/meal-plan-okan. If you still need help choosing a plan, give us a call at 250-807-8050 or email us information@housing.okanagan.ubc.ca.

How can I purchase a Meal Plan?

You can purchase your meal plan by clicking here http://www.housing.ubc.ca/meal-plan-okan, or by visiting us on campus at Nicola Residence Building, 1290 International Mews, Kelowna, B.C., V1V 1V8.

Are Meal Plans required?

While a meal plan purchase is not required, many students take advantage of the convenience and value a meal plan has to offer.

What is a Dining Card?

Dining Cards are accepted as payment at all ARAMARK locations on campus. They act just like a gift card and can be loaded or re-loaded right at the till! This eliminates the need to carry cash or debit on you. There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles!

How do I get a Dining Card?

Dining Cards can be purchased at the till of any ARAMARK location, by calling 250-807-9208, or by visiting us on campus at the Administration Building, 3333 University Way, Kelowna, B.C., V1V 1V8.

Can I carry meals over to the next semester?

Voluntary Meal Plans do not expire! However, if the duration of the tax-free status is over and you have a remaining balance, we will calculate the GST on all purchases made and deduct it from the balance. The remaining difference will automatically carryover from semester to semester and year to year until depleted. If the remaining balance is not sufficient to cover the GST, the remaining balance will be non-refundable. If you are not planning to return, please refer to our refund policy and procedures on this site.

Can I treat a friend to a meal?

To keep discounts as high as possible, meals are reserved for the meal plan holder only. However, you can always treat a friend using your meal plan as long as you are present at time of purchase.

What do I do when my Dining Card gets low?

You can reload your Dining Card at any time at the till of any ARAMARK location, by calling 250-807-9208, or by visiting us on campus at the Administration Building, 3333 University Way, Kelowna, B.C., V1V 1V8.

Why do I have to create an account in order to check out?

For you, and us, to be able to best track orders, and to be able to contact you in case of a question regarding your order we ask that you create a CampusDish account.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Login" button, and then on the login page click the "create a new account" link.
